Our principal and Staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
Established in 1883, Junee Public School has been an integral part of the Junee community and we are proud of our history and passionate about the future. I am enormously proud and honoured to be the Principal of this wonderful school and value, like all of our staff, the opportunity to play such an important role in the individual development of each and every one of our students.
Our positive and welcoming school culture is underpinned by high expectations, a well-rounded and challenging curriculum and our school values of Respectful, Responsible and Successful. Our purpose is to support all learners to grow and succeed now and in the future by providing a safe, engaging and supportive environment that develops all students academically, socially, emotionally and culturally to reach their full potential.
Our teaching and learning culture is focused on challenging and enriching all students and our highly dedicated teachers are committed to a continuous focus on improving our school-wide practices and procedures.
The wellbeing of our students is of paramount importance. We strive to develop confident and resilient students who are capable of making choices that will allow them to achieve their aspirations, take on new challenges and contribute within our school, the local community and beyond.
We highly value our relationships and connections with our parents/carers and the wider community. Families are always welcome to attend school events, volunteer or simply just spend time engaging with their child in the many learning and cultural experiences we provide each year. See you soon!
